Although the market had its “regulars”, we were trying to reduce barriers and show the market vendors up close.
Local food was moved to the fore during the pandemic and we wanted to emphasize how close everything was and reinforce the idea that everyone loves the market.
Market shoppers grew by more than 300 per cent during this campaign, which lasted six months.
We took gorgeous photos at the market, and introduced vendors while market volunteers did a few posts of their own, sharing vendor lists and upcoming musicians.
Collaboration is key when you’re putting a big push on and in this case, all the players came together to make it work!
